Great opportunity to work for our client at their stunning contemporary lounge area within Gatwick airport. This is a thriving and busy location to work in boasting a fabulous bar serving amazing cocktails and table service restaurant.
As a Host you will be responsible for the provision of first class service ensuring the guest needs are met at all times and being operational within the lounge waiting on tables and serving behind the bar. You will also responsible for maximising sales opportunities dealing with any issues that may arise in a prompt and courteous manner.
To apply for this position you will be a efficient and self motivated individual with a minimum of 6 months bar or waiting experience gained in a hotel, restaurant or similar operation where you had had to adhere to service standards and been focused on guest care, unfortunately individuals without a catering and hospitality background will not be considered. You will also be a smart in your appearance combined with excellent communication skills and a proactive and professional approach to your work.
As this role is airside you will need to be able to provide contact for references covering the last 5 years with no gaps of more than 2 weeks, any gaps of 2 weeks must be supported by a gap reference. If you are unable to adhere to this please do not apply as you application will be unsuccessful.
Our client is offering a great basic of £7 per hour plus tips, in addition to the opportunity to work in a funky environment, plus training and development and the opportunity to work in organisation that is totally passionate and committed to their staff and guests alike who is also planning significant growth in 2010. Hours for this position will include early starts so ideally a car driver would suit, free car parking is also provided.
