Java senior developer / team leader. Flat structured dev team looking to gear up significantly. Take charge of an application stream and run with it from start to finish. Joel score 7 to 8 but will improve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define, plan, and deliver the complete end-to-end production of application development to time, budget and specification
Active guidance of virtual development teams on all technical issues related to the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of mission-critical information and software systems
Plan and manage all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of software applications
Production of detailed technical specifications to meet project requirements for approval by CTO
To develop, maintain, support, and upgrade existing systems and applications
Maintain continuous proactive awareness of current and emerging technologies as an aide to continuous technical improvement
Adhere to company development processes, standards and quality guidelines as approved by the CTO
Identify and apply excellent people management skills: training, mentoring, delegation and time management
Contribution to the selection of technologies, tools and processes to meet business objectives
