I’m not entirely sure why I am writing this here on gumtree. I have used dating sites and I have no problem meeting women in real life either. Finding someone who is not only attractive but emotionally available has become increasingly difficult-perhaps I am just not willing to settle…

A bit about me-I a 39, I live in Brighton. I am precisely 6ft tall and well built-don’t read that as ‘fat’, I’m just a big broad chested guy who is active and reasonably clean living, cropped hair and good teeth. I am intelligent, articulate and free thinker-occasionally I annoy people when I don’t buy into a perceived philosophy but hey ho.
I love music (from De La Soul to Devo, or Cash to The Clash) and film (indie offbeat strangeness). I do like a drink but am not looking for someone to just get drunk with-if boozing is top of your agenda, I’m probably not for you (not anymore, perhaps 10 years ago!).

I would like to meet someone who hasn’t quite worked it all out yet-not a complete mess but perhaps still searching for the entirety of what makes them tick (but searching reasonably happily!). Someone who has time to get to know me, someone who still believes that people do fall in love, someone who is sensual/sexual but can look beyond the pure physicality of a union, someone with a nice arse, slim to average build...

Having read all that back, it is no wonder I can’t meet this woman, I doubt she even partially exists-perhaps you can prove that wrong? I’m not that bothered by your age (though I imagine you’ll be between 30 and 45) and your ability to say something sparkling is paramount…
