Our Head Chef is leaving to start up his own business and we therefore require an experienced Head Chef to lead our brigade of 6.
Previous experience as a Head Chef is a must, as The Preston Park Tavern is one of the busiest pub/restaurants in Sussex.
You will be organised, mature and have a passion for cooking. You will enjoy working under the constant pressure of being busy and be able to demonstrate through your previous roles the ability to produce British gastro-pub food of the highest quality.
The ability to also achieve the required food gross profit is also a basic requirement through good menu planning, best purchasing practise and minimal wastage.
You will be fully responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety relating to the kitchen enviroment.
A salary of £26,500 is offered, plus bonus, good holiday allowance etc etc.
