It is in a small block of 9, Because of the layout of the building,from the front I am on the 1st floor(2 small flights of stairs from the street to my front door) But I am actually on the top floor of 3 floors.The block is built on a hill.
Although I am on a main(ish) road,there is very little noise.This is a council block but it is all on its own and not on an estate.

Intercom system.Very safe!
Gas and electricity are always economical.Really!
Water meter fitted.
Communal garden,although no one else ever uses it.
10 mins walk into Lewes.
Bus stops nearby to Brighton,Tunbridge Wells etc.
Railway station with good links to London 10 mins walk away.
The downs are just across the road from the flat.Great for walking.
Loft space.
Pets allowed.
Right to buy.
Rent £67 per week.
Landlord.Lewes District Council.

I have lived here for 2 years and absolutely love the flat.
It is quiet,economical,and there are no children here.I rarely see my neighbours.But I am hankering to get back to Brighton or Hove.
I'm also interested in moving to Haywards Heath....
I would ideally like a flat not on an estate,but I'm interested to hear what you may have,so get in touch.What can we lose?

Afterthought.
I have just previewed the ad and the little red button thing on the map on the right is in the wrong place...I am in Nevill Road. (on the A 275)

Another afterthought...
I want primarily a council swap,at a push I would consider a Housing Association property.
This flat is not for rent
And I do not wish to swap to a private property.
