My client wishes to recruit a Rating Surveyor to join their Director of Rating in expanding their team.

This is a new and exciting opportunity to work in a growing and profitable team, to assist in winning new business and in servicing not only the rating work that is generated, but also our existing rating clients.

The team has a UK-wide remit and the work will involve liaising with all offices, from our base near Gatwick.

The role will suit either a relatively newly qualified surveyor, or an experienced MRICS Surveyor. Ideally the successful candidate will have 2-3 years pre qualification experience, and have a proven track record within a ratings surveying role.
Tasks will include:

marketing support
specialist research
computer work and department administration.
advising clients on all rating matters

A newly qualified candidate will learn the complexities of rating surveying and negotiation. Over time, the chosen candidate will be expected to build up his/her own portfolio of rating cases and advise clients on all rating matters, whilst always being alert to other, profitable fee work for other departments.
