….. the first Little Chef opened in Reading in 1958 as an eleven-seater diner. Since then, we’ve become one of the UK’s favourite roadside restaurants with over 170 restaurants and 30 Burger King locations, as well as 20 of our food to go option, Coffee Tempo. About the job ……….

…… as the Assistant Manager, you’ll be a great stand in for the Manager, ensuring that the restaurant operates to the best possible standards. Getting the best out of your team through the development of their skills and motivating them to provide customers with a memorable experience

There’ll be the need to balance this with the control of stock, wages and other costs associated with running a restaurant business, to ensure that your restaurant delivers first class results.

About you ………

…….. above all, you’ll be a hands-on manager, able to operate the restaurant on a day to day basis at a practical level, as well as being able to use computerised back office systems. Ideally, you’ll be able to bring plenty of experience from within the retail, catering or hospitality sector, along with a real track record of success to share with Little Chef.
