JUST GOT BACK FROM TEST CENTER TRUCK FLEW THROUGH TEST NO PROBLEMS. MECHANIC IS CONVINCED THAT I HAVENT DRIVEN IT SINCE HE SAW IT LAST YEAR.... BUT IV DRIVEN IT EVERY DAY AND TAKEN IT AROUND FRANCE! DONT MISS THIS OPORTUNITY TO HAVE A RELIABLE TRUCK WHICH WILL GO ON FOR YEARS.

Vehicle history



This is the older model of the dodge 50 the engine is a 3.8 perkins diesel and at 59918 on the clock is not even worn in yet. The gross weight is 4.6 but unladen weighs 3.4 (last time I was on the scales) so is fine to drive on a normal licence.

The dodge was original used as a water maintenance van on isle of man so did not run up a lot of miles on the clock. It was then brought by the previous owner who drove it to Spain and back twice with no problems. He also kept all the old MOT slips which I now have it was left on his drive used as storage for about 5 years until last year when I brought it as a new protect. Despite not being started for years once I replaced the battery it started first time.

Since this I have driven it almost every day (short and long distances) with out problem the fuel consumption is really good.

In the last year I have had all the breaks reconditioned ,2 new tyres put on it ( all 6 are now in good conditions ) , new battery, both belts replaced, new alternator, and fuel injection pump reconditioned

I have also added a checker plate divide between the cab and back and a metal shutter on back window( not visible in pic) for added security

on the roof there is also a roof cage added after this photo was taken

the only bad points are , crack in windscreen (not MOT fail and can be sorted by including windscreen cover in your policy) ,little bit on bonnet ( I am currently sorting a new bonnet which I will hopefully have by time of sale) other than this considering the age of it the hole vehicle is virtual untouched by rust

The interior

inside is a comfortable living space which includes a flat screen TV with built in free view, hidden built in decks table, technics surround sound, 12v blue lights, 12v normal lighting, 240v spot light, 2 hobs and a grill with on board gas supply, water pump and water supply, metal lock box under bed bolted to floor, 12v/240v power supply, 80w solar panel, 2 large leisure battery, charge regulator also there is a secret compartment in one of the units

as you can see I have taken time and effort working on this truck it contains art work that I have done that I will be including with the truck

this is a reliable runner and has been a good home to me that I sad to let go but I feel that I have finished with this project and that it is time to start a new one this tuck is ideal for some any one who wants to travel or just have the comfort of constant electric even with out use of a generator or 240 supply. The battery's and inverter are large enough to power all the decks, mixer, amp, lap top ect all at once this has been tried and tested by using the truck as a DJ booth at private party's and events (decks not included)

I will also sell the tuck with a list of reliable contacts of sorting dodge parts and a copy of the hains work shop manual
