Singing Tuition in West Sussex
Singing lessons offered to all ages from BEGINNERS to the MORE EXPERIENCED.
Study with a qualified singer and musician with fifteen years experience and a wide knowledge of vocal technique and styles. I have a Batchelors in Music from the University of East Anglia, which was followed by completing a Masters in Music and Performance Practice at the University of York. I continue my vocal studies with Alison Pearce (Vocal Professor at the Royal Academy of Music).
As a keen singer I have performed in both choirs and as a soloist in many public concerts around the cities of London, Norwich, York and Oxford and also in the West Sussex County. So I can help with performance nerves and train pupils to be more relaxed when singing by teaching them the basic steps of how to use your voice as an instrument.
With my techniques I will make beginner's realise their singing potential without damaging their voices. Pupils can bring along the songs they have always wanted to sing to the lesson and explore new styles. I will also teach the basics to music theory and rhythm, so that pupils can also have an understanding of the music they are singing.
Lessons for beginners are half an hour and booking a consultation lesson is advised to begin with. For more advanced pupils lessons can be up to an hour.
Lessons would usually take place in my home in Crawley, however if you live further away I am willing to travel as long as you have a keyboard/piano. For a half hour lesson the price is £10 and £20 for the full hour.
I am a member of The Incorporated Society of Musicians.
