Do you play either guitar or piano and want to develop your skills with the other? I’ve been informally teaching both for years, and have specific experience of tailoring tuition to suit where you’re coming from- e.g. explaining how piano works in terms you understand already from guitar (I also play the mandolin and violin, so this applies to most stringed instruments). This stuff is really easy with the right direction, and I love helping people get off the ground with this stuff. I teach in a relaxed way, but it is quite intense. By analogy, I’d rather teach you to use a dictionary than plod through every word I can think of with you. I charge £10 an hour, and you’ll get quick results, if you have the enthusiasm. I’m happy at your place or mine, assuming you have a keyboard. I can offer straight tuition on either, too, if that’s what you need.
