Transition Brighton & Hove are holding Brighton’s first Eco Energy Fair and seek a couple of people with experience of event promotion. This could suit somebody looking to gain experience in promoting events with a sustainability theme and working a team of enthusiastic volunteers to transform their vision into reality. The competencies required are :

· Event promotion and publicity, including contact with the press and other media, online promotion and printed promotion (posters, flyers, etc.)
· Searching for and dealing with sponsors
· Budget monitoring
· Evaluation, management reporting and post-event analysis
