We are looking for a fourth and possibly fith member to complete our sailing team to sail from Brighton, across Biscay and out to the Azores and then return back to brighton. With plenty of sight seeing on route.

First let me tell you about us... We are 3 young people 24yrs 26yrs and 31yrs very easy going, relaxed and generally making the most of life. We enjoy the outdoor life and love the sea and the amazing things sailing brings. 2 boys 1 girl.

I currently live aboard my 38ft sailing yacht in Brighton and we plan to leave at the end of July 2010 The trip will last around 2 months, possibly a bit longer depending on speed and weather and if we fall in love with somewhere and just can't leave!

The trip is guaranteed to bring some amazing experiences such as:

Beautiful scenery, unpolluted starry skyes, wild dolphins and whales, the feeling of freedom and traveling on the wind plus many more. As well as highs there will be lows, challenges both mentally and phisically, planning learning and working as part of a team and looking out for your fellow crew.

We are not looking for someone with all the sailing qualifications under the sun but someone who is willing to learn, has a good personality and a good team player with a huge love for life and travel.

Saying that a little sailing experience may help, but not essential.
This is open to males and females. You will be expected to split the food bills, and marina fees with other crew members but this won't be too tragic and kept to a minimum as we will try to find plenty of anchorages and stay away from expensive marinas as much as we can

Living and being on board at sea for this length of time involves :

Living in close quarters with crew, working to get the best out of the boat, not seeing land for 10 days, safety watches, daily chores and cleaning, boat maintanence, cooking, navigation and chart work, rope work, weather. and above all fun.
Also a weeks boat preperation prior to departure.
