Urgent large 3 bed Portslade need 3 4 bed house in Hollingdean Hollingbury areas

Date posted: Wednesday 25th June
Location: Porstlade Mile Oak

Hi, I have a gorgeous, light, 3 bed eot (of 6 houses) house in a really quiet and very safe part of Portslade/Mile Oak (off mile oak road - the rise). It's in a lovely location and not overlooked by anyone as our garden backs straight onto protected downland. Easy peasy parking and some very good schools/shops and a farm shop too, within walking distance. Kitchen has d/w. w/m, ff, td and we have a kitchen table with chairs in here too. Lounge is of a great size with door opening onto large garden - that is fenced all the way round the side - so is extra big and very private. It also has a good sized shed. Hallways, staircase and landings are of extra wide size for wheelchair access etc Understairs storage and downstairs toilet too.
Massive 1st bedroom, could easliy be converted into a double and a single for not much cost at all (making into a 4 bed). 2 other beds are smaller, the 2nd is average size, and the 3rd being a single bedroom but def not a box room as my teenager will testify!

ONLY reason for moving is that my daughters URGENTLY need me to live closer to them and they live just down from Varndean College most of the time with their Dad. They desperately want to spend more time with me during the weekdays etc after school, and their two little sisters, but as I am disabled and cannot drive I cannot pick them up/take them to school etc.

I am URGENTLY looking for any 3 bed (or even a 3 bed with a separate dining room to use as a 4th bedroom), or a massive 2 bed with a separate dining room (to use as a 3rd bedroom). Need a large garden big enough for my litttle ones trampoline and play stuff as well as space for me to sit in the sun - no north facing gardens please Space for parking outside ( a drive way would be good but not essential at all as I could get a disabled bay put in)... Oh, also need a downstairs loo if poss.

My house is like a blank canvas and only a year and a half old.
It has lovely laminated oak flooring downstairs and a light neutral carpet running throughout the rest of the house.

If you want to change areas, I highly reccommend this part of town. Have lived in Brighton also but apart from around the Fiveways area, Hollindean and Hollingbury, I'd never go back. some mornings I open my curtains and see a couple horses grazing in a couple of fields away. Amazing views of downs and sea with pathway on close onto downs. No through road/10mph speed limit so really safe for kids who all tend to play together in the good weather. Also extremely quiet -bliss at night. I wish we didn't have to move, but my kids need me to be closer, and I need to do the right thing by them all.

Please come and visit, and don't be put off by Mile Oak - it's a great place to live and very, very safe. My house is a bit like a tardis so if you pop up don't forget to come and look around the inside etc and see the garden. I will be very sad to leave here, but need to be near the kids.
