The best conversion you will see!
We have owned this van for a year and did a 3 week trip around Europe plus many other trips. Wherever we go people say it is the best conversion they have seen and because you can stand up in it is more comfortable than your typical VW camper. Selling because we have done our big trip now and need the money. Details as follows:
•Sleeps 2, rear seating area converts into a double bed with foam cushions (very comfy)
•New fridge freezer
•Sink with cold running water
•240v mains hook up (hook up cable included) and also has a 240v inverter which can be used to power the plug sockets when hook up isnt available
•2 x 110amp leisure batteries in the back which powers the lighting and the twin screen dvd system with radio/cd player with ipod connection (when the van is plugged into the mains theres an onboard charger that charges the leisure batteries)
•Pop up skylight/vent
•Lots of storage space in the back for bbqs, chairs etc, there is also lots of storage inside, under both seats, the cupboard built into back wall and also cupboard above the drivers cab. This is all nice clean storage for clothes, bedding etc. There is also a lot of storage under the sink. There isn’t a cooker fitted inside but will include a new 2 ring cooker which could easily be used next to the sink (we found we just didn’t need a cooker)
•Wood laminate flooring, easy to clean
•Fitted curtain which fits around the front windows to ensure privacy
•New Fiamma awning on the outside, with outside light
•Fiamma 2 bike carrier on the back, which still allows doors to be opened without removing bikes
This van looks/feels brand new inside, is amazingly well insulated and is in very good condition although there are a few small rust bubbles on the front wheel arches but they are not too serious. The only known fault is that the heater knob on the dashboard no longer works. The temperature can be adjusted easily from under the dashboard when stationary.
The van has done 127,000 miles but still drives brilliantly with no known faults
MOT till May 2010. Taxed till Nov 2009.
Viewing can be arranged and I will attempt to answer questions as soon as I can. I have the V5 in my name. Lots more photos available.
