·To be aware of licensing regulations, including weights and measurements, under age drinking, drinking up time and food handling regulations.

·To ensure smooth and efficient running of the bar operation at all times.

·To ensure that table service is maintained at all times.

·To ensure that ashtrays are constantly emptied.

·To maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the bar area.

·To report maintenance faults to the Head of Department.

·To ensure any wastage or breakage’s are reported to the Head of Department and recorded accurately.

·To deal with cash and credit card transactions accurately.

·To have a high knowledge of cocktail and menu descriptions.
