My client in West Sussex are seeking to recruit a Service Technician / Engineer.

Due to continued growth and expansion my client, a market leading provider of quality health care equipment products, have an exciting vacancy for a service / repair technician.

This company is a worldwide leader in products that focus on complex electronic medical devices.

Role:
After you have completed product training you will be expected to Service and repair a range of Medical Equipment products, as well as provide technical support to customers and sales teams within a busy Technical Services Department, therefore the commitment to providing the best quality service available in our field is essential.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Department Manager, you will be responsible for the calibration, service and maintenance of a varied range of portable ultrasonic electronic equipment; as well as providing an in-house quality pre and after sales
Support service.

You must be capable of working in line with the commercial targets of the department as well as strive for continuous improvement to meet or exceed customer expectations. Key to your success will be your ability to be flexible, prioritise workloads & thrive in a busy team working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

HNC or equivalent in electronics/telecommunications
Must possess component level diagnostic ability
Must be at ease dealing with customers and have strong communications skills, both written and oral
Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet customer deadlines.
3 years or equivalent experience in a technical environment
Excellent problem solving skills
Possess a flexible "can do" attitude and enjoy working as part of a team or as an individual
Full Clean UK Driving license
Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality System
