Known as the Red Enigma and Postman Pat Van, this workhorse has kept me entertained with roadtrips and other fun for the last four years. I have kept it serviced myself and it has had the following work done to it by my mechanic:

-Cam Belt Change (09/2005)
-New Clutch (10/2006)
-Reconditioned Nearside Driveshaft (10/2006)
-New Front Suspension Struts (04/2008)
-New Front Calipers (04/2008)

Unfortunately, around Spring last year, i got stopped by VOSA for a random spotcheck. This ended up in me getting a Prohibition Notice for the following items:

-Broken Wheel Nut (Now Fixed)
-Exhaust Insecure (Just needs clips)

I had a pre-MOT done as a result and sadly, the problems they found were beyond my finances to repair. The main one was that the rear third of the chassis needed extensive repair. I was quoted between £300-£400 for this. Ever since then, the van has been left parked up in Brighton without tax or MOT.

Mechanically it's brilliant - it always started first time and never let me down. The bodywork is very dirty and has a fair few rust patches but nothing that will fail on the MOT. Someone has also torn away the plastic strip that runs along one side and knocked the drivers side mirror away.

Basically, if you can weld, you can get a few more years out of this love wagon. I hope someone is willing to do this.

Since there is no MOT or Tax, you will need to tow this away even though it is driveable (i drove it from Brighton to Derby and back with the problems it had).
