Do you want to work for one of the U.K’s leading Energy contractors who employ over 3500 nationwide?

Due to an ever increasing workload on a 10 year public sector contract they have an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Estimator to be based out of their office in West Sussex.

You will be predominantly working on smaller jobs with a value of up to £15,000 but there will be larger projects you will be required to work on. Projects will range from commercial, residential, educational, and emergency services

As an Estimator you will usually work on several different projects at one time. You will have excellent technical knowledge and commercial experience as well as knowledge of estimating packages

Duties:
• Include sending/receiving enquiries
• Taking-off drawings/schedules
• Liaison with sub-contractors, consultants, clients and project mangers
• Entering quantities into estimating software
• Applying mark ups
• Attending hand over meetings to finalise tenders and site visits
• Visiting sites to survey and ascertain what materials are required to carry out a fully working installation
• Progress and learn new skills in design projects.

You will need to have experience in working for a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor, with a background in the public sector (schools, libraries, local government etc.)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who have secured a long term contract that will see them through for at least the next 10 years. This is a possible temporary to permanent position if you so desired.
