We are currently looking for an Event Manager to join our successful Conference & Banqueting team on a full time basis.
Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Services Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the organising, setting up and managing of Events and functions within the hotel.
This is an operational role so you will need to lead the event from the front, ensuring that the detailed information provided from our team of co-ordinators is acted on to ensure a first class event is delivered at each stage of the operation.
Ideally having worked within a Conference & Banqueting department for a minimum of 2 years, you will also need to have experience in managing a team of people. You will need to have an eye for detail, be organised and articulate and have great man-management skills.
In addition, the ideal applicant will also have previous bar supervisory or management experience, including extensive drinks knowledge and experience of stocktaking.
