Financial Controller
Job Description
Day to day running of the accounting system
General finance administration, including bank reconciliation
Preparing and submission of VAT and CIS returns.
Invoicing
Payroll administration
Owning the credit control and accounts receivable processes.
Negotiating & arranging collections of payments from customers.
Chasing payment, cash allocation and contacting customers to resolve outstanding queries.
Checking and reviewing customer credit limits via credit referencing information.
Maintaining KPI's for controlling and reporting cash flow to management.
Providing weekly management accounts to the Directors
Providing branch profit and loss accounts to Branch Managers
Monitoring purchase controls
Developing systems to include stock management
EXPERIENCE
Essential
3 years Credit Control.
Must be professional, able to negotiate and persuade over the telephone
3 years experience in small business and with small business accounting systems
Desirable
Experience in the construction sector
Payroll
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
Familiar with Word and Excel
Methodical and accurate
Desirable
AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA or CIMA.

Able to work on own initiative
Proven track record in customer care
Proactive attitude to problem solving

Clear headed under pressure
An enthusiasm for renewable energy technologies.
