Pre-Sales Technical Consultant
My has a fantastic opportunity for a technical pre-sales consultant to join their busy technical solution team.
This is a key position for a pre-sales solution consultant who will be providing pre-sales support to the internal sales force.
The position requires a motivated candidate with proven experience within the IT sector as well as a good understanding of Ethernet networks and the Windows based operating system.
The position involves working closely with other pre-sales specialists and sales personnel to provide solution configurations that meet customer requirements.
The position also involves customer facing meetings where solution design and configuration is discussed.
There will also be times when implementation of these solutions into customer site(s) is required.
Technical writing skills are essential, for the candidate to produce customer specific
technical material as well as working with marketing departments to produce technically accurate literature
Required skills
Understanding of Windows printing
Understanding of Apple Macintosh, AS/400, LINUX, UNIX printing
Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
A good grasp of Microsoft Visio
Understanding of Token Ring networks
Good communication skills
Well presented, with a smart appearance
Microsoft Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003)
Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Optional Skills
