An experienced, highly motivated and professional Sales Manager is required for a well established dealership in the Worthing area.

Reporting to the Branch Manager your overall responsibility will be to ensure the efficient running and profitability of the Sales Department.

You will be an exceptional communicator, able to establish strong relationships with both customers and staff and possess a successful, recent track record in leading, motivating, training and developing sales teams in addition to the ability of managing large vehicle stock in a financially effective manner.


Duties will include: Setting the annual sales budget and targets with the Branch Manager; Monitoring and assessing sales staff performances including appraisals and annual reviews; Organising staff meetings to discuss operational and financial matters; Interviewing potential staff; Ensuring that staff are FSA compliant and that all observations and assessments are completed; Assisting in assessing the company's investment in resources and making recommendations to the Branch Manager where necessary; Ensuring procedures and standards which meet the objectives of a high level of customer satisfaction and profitability which satisfies both the company and the manufacturer.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm (with time off in Lieu)

Salary is £32-37K + Bonuses depending on experience.
