We are working alongside this multi-cultural, busy West Sussex Primary School to appoint an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The school has 205 pupils with a large catchment area. There is a cohesive and supportive staff team which encourages a friendly and professional environment in which to work in. The school, like many, has it's challenging moments but rest assured there are sufficient policies in procedures in place to support such occasions.
The role will involve covering PPA, teaching whole classes and planning - the suitable candidate will have their HLTA status as well as recent and relevant experience. You will also be required to maintain discipline and manage behaviour under the school guidelines. You will be working across Year 1 to 6 in small groups with SEN as well as whole classes.
This position is offered on a full time basis and you will be required to work Monday to Friday 09.00-15.00
