Our client is a family run award winning Gastro Pub with rooms all set in a beautiful rural location near Chichester in West Sussex. Currently they have a rare opportunity for a Front of House Manager / Assistant Manager for their 1 AA Rosette restaurant. Our client's reputation is outstanding in the area for providing consistently stunning French, Mediterranean and New English cuisine.

This is very much a key role for our client as you will play an integral part in the smooth running of the operation. You will be responsible for managing a team of very experienced and committed floor and bar team, dealing with day to day issues that may arise in a professional manner, cellar management, ordering, stock control, working operationally in the restaurant and bar area and cash handling.

To apply for this position you will have a stable career history and have worked in positions of trust. You will be a real foodie with experience at assistant manager / manager level in a food led pub, restaurant or possibly small hotel, a gastro pub would be perfect! For this role you will be a smart individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work under you own initiative and keep calm in a pressurised environment. If you have a personal licence it would be advantageous.

Our client can offer a package of up to £20'000 plus 28 days holiday and the opportunity to work realistic working hours.
