The Tara Dakides is stiffer than the Vans Women's Encore boot, thanks in part to a built-in internal support harness. An updated Quadfit liner features dual-density EVA padding, heel-holding Achilles pads, an exterior support cage and backstay, and lightweight breathable wicking mesh. TD-signature footbeds provide antimicrobial protection, integrated arch support, impact-relief pads, and an overmolded support cage. Vans' Double-Lasted V-Tread Snowaffle Air Outsole increases sensitivity and zonal dampening with better sole-edge traction. Its compression-molded EVA midsole features forefoot gel cassettes to provide lightweight cushioning and zone-specific shock absorption. The PU heel block has dual gel dampening pads for enhanced stability and impact dispersion, while a TPU arch-stability platform and full-wrap heel cradle provide excellent support, rigidity and response.
