We live in Ashington, West Sussex and are looking for someone either live-in/live-out to assist with childcare.

We have a little boy, aged 5 (with special needs) and little girl, aged 3 and another due in early December. We are looking for someone to assist, in the first instance, around the time of the new baby's arrival but this may develop into a permanent role for the right person.

Example of duties to include getting the children ready for school/playschool, dropping off to playschool, children's laundry and ironing and keeping rooms tidy, providing children's meals, general childcare with possible sole charge at times.

As we are quite rural, drivers license and use of own car would be beneficial although buses do run regularly through the village.

Our son is autistic so experience of special needs would be great but not essential, as long as you are willing to learn and possess a good sense of humour.

We are advertising this as suitable for an aupair/mother's help as it will be predominantly whilst I am on maternity leave. However, there is a possibility for the role to develop into sole charge when I have to return to work.

We are negotiable on hours/days for part-time work as well as live-in/live-out. Salary for live-in will reflect that we will provide room with ensuite and meals.
