Brighton Live introduces a FREE singing and performance workshop, led by Johanna Harman. This workshop is not just open to those of you who want to improve their vocal skills, but to all you instrumentalists out there who would like to advance their stagecraft and general performance prowess!

2 x 1 hour sessions. 2pm til 3pm & 3pm til 4pm @ Latest Music Bar, Manchester Street, Brighton.

Places are strictly limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis. But PLEASE, if you do book, please turn up (or at the very least advise us that you are cancelling) because, otherwise, you may be depriving others a place.

During the session, Johanna will go through some key points of vocal technique, delivery and performance and, all things being equal, will give the opportunity for some group harmony singing. All ages and abilities welcome.

Since leaving education - with separate music and drama degrees - Johanna has been receiving rave reviews fronting bands containing exceptional musicians who have been working with artists such as Jools Holland, Madness, Iggy Pop, Morrissey, Tom Jones, Mica Paris, David Gray, Death In Vegas, Paul Weller, Average White Band, Freakpower, Massive Attack, Supergrass, Babyshambles, Squeeze and more. She has recently been signed to Grammy-winning producer Pete Smith (Sting, Gary Moore, Joe Cocker, Randy Crawford etc) and has been described as 'one of the great white soul voices of her generation'.
