Hi',I guess this starts with a little about me.

Or is that just a guy thing.

After I'd spent 4 years bimbling through art college practicing to be a photographer I did a raft of jobs taking pics that included working at Butlins, in hospitals, on a cruise ship, and for a detective agency. A right carry on. Since then though I've pretty much always worked with my hands, either as a general builder/decorator or as I do now, a Yurt maker.

I like to read, write, watch old films, work on ideas, chat about life, and getting out in the country (mostly working but to chill in and stroll through too). Also, bizarrely, I rather enjoy my job, which is something I always kind of hoped would happen. Travel seems to feature pretty highly in my life too although a clean hotel room with a bath is finally winning out over hostels and a tap.

Who I'd like to meet up with would be an upbeat practical woman, someone who likes doing unpretentious hands on creative stuff and someone to have a laugh with here or abroad (paragliding in Nepal, or having a day in Dieppe, that sort of thing). Above all, someone who has found a bit of peace in their lives and is looking for a person to build on it with. M
