Due to recent client demand and expansion my client are looking to employ an experienced Wayleave Surveyor.  This is a new role within the company and the successful candidate will have scope to determine their own career path within the Utilities industry.

This is an exciting role that comes with the following responsibilities:

- Ensuring the company's new sites have all the necessary permits and consents, while maintaining minimum costs and maximum effectiveness.
- Liaising with consultants and planners and local communities - directing their input, ensuring full engagement and delivering best practice.

Key skills and experience:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- An understanding of DNO's and the complex arguments across a range of environmental issues
- Experience is essential of obtaining consents or surveying preferably in the electricity industry
- Computer literate with sound computer knowledge and Basic legal knowledge
