Here we have for sale our LDV 400 17 seat minibus

This is the Long wheel base, 400 Diesel model.

This is fitted with the reliable and robust Peugeot diesel engine (Non turbo) that will go on forever and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever

We purchased this vehicle in April 2005, with a years MOT, but we then found it was only MOT’ed as a car (Maximum 9 seats)

We subsequently got this re-tested in the Aug as a proper class 5 minibus.

For that MOT it had,
New bolts fitted for the seats
New off-side king pin
Rear brake shoes
Rear wheel brake cylinders

In the Feb of 2006 it had a full service, to include
Fuel filter
Air filter
Oil filter
Oil
Fan belt
Power steering belt
Vacuum pump belt
Water pipe (from radiator to expansion tank)
Clutch cable

For the MOT in August 2006 it had replace
Off side track rod end
1 rear brake light bulb

It was again serviced in Feb 2007 and had replaced
Oil filter
Fuel filter
Oil
2 new front tyres fitted in June 2007

In July it had a full check over in preparation for its MOT, to Inc
Both front wheel bearings re-packed with grease, and adjusted
Front king pins greased up
Rear brakes cleaned and adjusted
Handbrake adjusted
Rear wheel arches (inner) plated and welded
Nearside King pin replaced
Off side king pin re-shimmed
Both ball joints on drag link replaced
New Speedo cable

As you can see since we took over ownership of this vehicle, it has been very well maintained, and anything it has needed, has been done on it immediately.

We use this minibus to carry children around in, so safety is of paramount importance.

Our reason for selling this now, is we have raised enough money from playing at venues, and with grants (as a registered charity) to purchase a NEW minibus

Please remember this minibus is 11 years old, and does have some dents and scratches on it, the worst being the nearside rear corner, that was hit whilst it was parked. The rear doors have rusted at the usual points along the bottom edges, but this has been covered over with Tape.

All the seatbelts work, and the seats are in pretty good condition, the only fault with them is the back rests being plastic have cracked, where people have caught them whilst walking through.

This also has the legal seatbelt stickers on all windows.

The minibus is the standard height roof model, and is fitted with a heavy duty luggage rack, (unfortunately the roof does have dents due to people standing in between the roof rack slats instead of on them)

Also has a towbar with twin step fitted, this was also re-wired last year to repair an earthing fault.

We have spent a considerable amount of money on this, probably on some things that didn’t need changing, but prevention and safety come first where children are concerned.

As you can see for the age this is still low mileage, and in our ownership we have only covered approx 4-5 thousand miles per year.

Would be ideal as a works van or a pub and club courtesy bus.

We now have our new minibus, and sadly have to let this one go, to a new owner.

We have the V5 available, along with the MOT certificate.

This must be sold this month due to the tax running out, and obviously we don’t want to re-tax it as we have another bus to look after now.
(Can re-tax for buyer at buyers cost, as it is still insured)
