Sen Teaching Assistant
Description :
A Special Educational Needs School in West Sussex are looking for experienced Special needs Teaching Assistants to support and develop the SEN provision. The school is situated in West Sussex and looks after Children who have specific physical disabilities including a large number with Cerebral Palsy.
Essential Skills:
- Experience of supporting learning and differentiate your approach to reach all learners
- Provide pastoral support to pupils
- Experience working on one to one basis to help overcome barriers to learning
- Experience of working with pupils who need constant physical care, including assisting with toiletry and feeding requirements.
- Knowledge of PECS, Makaton/ Sign a long .
- Experience and/ or training in moving and handling
