Deployment and Support Engineer
SCL is the world’s leading foreign exchange and prepaid point of sale systems provider, working with many multi-national clients including TUI Travel, HSBC, Commerzbank, American Express and Westfield Shopping Centres.
We are looking for a Deployment and Support Engineer to work in our Brighton-based office. The successful candidate will be working in a small department delivering deployment and level 1,2 support for our international client base.
The role will involve configuration, setup and deployment of customer requirements, maintenance of production servers and solving client problems. This will include occasional out of 'normal' office working hours and may include occasional travel.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL and databases combined with good customer communication skills.
Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, HTML, XML, MS Access, MySQL, VBA, JavaScript, C++, web servers and an understanding of the Travel Money industry would be an advantage.
