This course is aimed at rhythm section players (piano, guitar, bass and drums). It will be a very practical, workshop-based course with emphasis on developing skills as a combo/rhythm section player. Topics include: comping, time feel (swing, Latin, straight), soloing, intros/endings, piano workshop (for pianists and non-pianists) and stylistic analysis.

The course will be very practical and will cover a wide variety of tunes. It is open to 6 pianists, 3 guitarists and four bassists/drummers.

It will be held at Chichester university on the sat the 6th of sept and sunday the 7th. Price is £89.00 per person not including accomodation or food. All abilities and experience welcome, email of call to book your place. Places given on a first come first serve basis.
