Pathways Advisor, Crawley
£21,000 to £24,000


This leading training provider is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to work in their Crawley office focusing on the Pathways contract. (those on incapacity benefits)
You will work to deliver a personalised support service providing learners whom receive health related benefits with the skills, motivation and confidence and enable them to move into suitable sustained employment.

Managing a caseload of learners you will:
Conduct full interviews and on-going assessments of learners to develop action plans so they can achieve their move into employment.
Conduct Work Focused Interview and SMARTER action plans and regular reviews.
• Responsible for your own targets (KPI’s)
• Looking after a caseload of members with different disabilities
• Drawing up action plans for each member to follow
• Motivating members, engaging them in activities to help them become “job ready”
• Promoting the free services our client provides to small & medium local businesses
• Develop long lasting relationships with the local community
• Gain possible employment placements for members
• Organising interviews for “job ready” members
• Developing key relationships with the members and your team

The right person will: -
• Have relevant experience in working with disabled, disadvantaged, socially excluded or adults with health issues
• Be educated to a good level preferably hold a degree or equivalent
• Advanced Maths and English Skills
• Advanced communication skills with people at all levels
• Work Performance Target driven, methodical approach,
• Confident and calm under pressure
• Self starter, never gives up
• Motivational, Engaging and proactive
• Understanding of the difficulties faced by members with disabilities on benefits
