Lecturer required relating to the following subjects areas is essential - Wood Trades, Painting and Decorating, Plastering and Brickwork.
 
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and a commitment to equality of opportunity are also essential criteria.
 
It is desirable but not essential that candidates have relevant teaching experience along with a teaching qualification. If not, the successful candidate should have a willingness to obtain one.

Essential:
 

- High level of recent and relevant knowledge, practical experience and understanding of subject area.
- Appropriately and highly skilled in the relevant area.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent team working skills.
- A commitment to equality of opportunity.
- GCSE Maths and English (minimum Grade C) or equivalent or willingness to gain one.
- A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
- Teaching experience.
- Assessor or verifier awards or other appropriate specialist training qualification.
