Our client is looking for a support worker to support the manager and team in an established fostering service. Based in a beautiful location, and with excellent amenities in a well established team with low turnover of staff, this presents as an excellent opportunity to gain direct working experience within a fostering service.

The post is a full time and permanent position where you will be required to attend child care reviews and case conferences with the social workers as required. Candidates will also be required to support administrative and education staff as required. Candidates will also need to be aware of the placement plans of the allocated foster placements with whom there is regular involvement.

You will be joining a long established Outstanding fostering agency and receive a competitive benefits package. Salary (per annum) : £15,000 to £23,000. In order to achieve the higher salary, we require you to have the a qualification in children and families services. Being able to drive is essential in order to support carers across this area, a lease car scheme is offered as an alternative to sourcing your own vehicle.
