Software Developer – C# , ASP.NET (.Net 3.5) SQL Winforms Hailsham


An established East Sussex based software house providing bespoke software design, development and consultancy for blue chip clients, local companies and charities are looking to hire a Junior to Mid-level .Net Developer with ASP.Net, C# (.Net 2.0 and 3.5 ) They are an award winning company and are Microsoft Certified Partners who look to get all developers certified to the highest levels.

We are looking to find them a full time .Net ( Asp.Net , C# , .Net 3.5 ) Software Developer who can demonstrate a genuine interest in technology and software development. Working as part a small but enthusiastic and advanced team you will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work on multiple projects and give evidence of good commercial experience, understanding and a commitment to innovation. The role also requires an element of project and client relationship management - all our consultant Developers have great people skills.

Project Architectures

Platforms: ASP.NET ( Mainly), Winforms.NET, Classic ASP, VB6
Framework: .NET 3.5 ( Mainly ) , 2.0 and 1.1 Phasing out – some migration work.

Key Responsibilities

• New project analysis, design, development and deployment in .Net 3.5
• Existing system maintenance and modification
• Taking ownership of and managing a number of projects
• Awareness of emerging technologies and software disciplines

Essential Skills Required
• 2 years .NET experience (C#.NET, ASP.NET)
• 2 years SQL/Server and T-SQL – Strong SQL Skills needed Stored procedures/triggers/functions
• SOAP Web services, ADO.NET
• Understanding of OOA/OOD/OOP and relational theory

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Javascript, HTML, XHTML, AJAX.NET, CSS, VB Script and Classic ASP
• SOAP, Web services
• ADO.net
• UML
• XML, XSLT
• Winforms.NET
• Pattern development
• Tiered n-tier application layer development experience
• Visual Source Safe
• Experience with web and mobile device application development

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Salary: £25>35,000
