One of the South Coasts leading educational institutions is seeking a Finance Director to develop and implement financial strategy. The role is the most senior within finance and you will be responsible for leading the team to ensure the continued effectiveness of the planning, budgeting and reporting processes.
You will be expected to sit on the Board and play a key role within management meetings, presenting financial information to key figures in management, governing bodies and interested external parties.
You will also have responsibility for the day to day running of a small, but very busy accounts department, while also looking at maintaining internal controls, management information systems and reviewing risk.
You will currently be a Finance Director and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of experience gained within a Public Sector environment (ideally further education). You should be comfortable with strategic decision making and have the gravitas to operate at Board level.
