The Beacon is a national centre providing specialist care and support for men and women living with HIV and is one of only two centres in the UK providing such services. We now have openings for the following:
D-Grade Nurse
Full Time including rotation on to nights

Salary: D-grade equivalent Registered Nurse
(Dependent on experience)
Role purpose:
• To deliver high quality care to clients on the Residential Unit within a framework of national standards and professional practice.

Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse – general / mental health
• Evidence of professional / personal development essential
• Specialist HIV / mental health experience an advantage

Experience:
• Post registration experience preferred.
• Demonstrable interest in HIV / Sexual Health nursing or mental health issues essential.

Skills and Competencies::
• Excellent team working skills required.
• Demonstrable ability to take initiative in both familiar and unexpected situations.
• Ability to take direction in order to progress in own development.
