Having recently been awarded a long-term contract within the Public Sector, my client has an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Estimator and an Electrical Estimator.

The bulk of the work will be on projects up to £20,000, although you will work on projects up to £1,000,000.

As an Estimator you will work on several different projects at one time. You will have excellent technical knowledge and commercial experience as well as knowledge of estimating packages

Duties include, sending/receiving enquiries; Taking-off drawings/schedules; Liaison with sub-contractors, consultants, clients and project managers; Entering quantities into estimating software; Applying mark ups; Attending hand over meetings to finalise tenders and site visits; Visiting sites to survey and ascertain what materials are required to carry out a fully working installation;

You will need to have experience in working as a Mechanical or Electrical Estimator within the Building Services sector.
