Senior PHP Developer/Lead PHP Developer
£30k-£40k per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PHP Web Developer to join a dynamic team dedicated to developing and providing design led websites to its clients.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about web development and PHP. The ideal candidate will lead the development of bespoke web applications that fit the needs of our clients. Our custom websites are produced to match requirement specifications. Meeting scheduled milestones and deadlines is paramount to this role.
Essential Skills:
Good commercial experience of web development with knowledge of several open source CMS driven websites.
Able to demonstrate excellent use of PHP5 with proven skills in developing, maintaining ad adapting PHP applications and web-based tools.
MySQL a good understanding of database management, description and development to be used by PHP applications and tools.
Good overall development (HTML/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery) skills and experience.
Fully conversant with accessibility guidelines that fully comply with the W3C - WCAG standards.
Building commercial websites to comply with PCI standards.
Server admin & maintenance including firewall and security.
Ability to manage, motivate and enhance the development team.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of Flash and Flash action script.
This role will suit someone who has a background in applications development including project work, technical specification, development, documentation and testing.
Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.
Knowledge of IIS and MailEnable
Knowledge of subversion (SVN), VisualSVNServer and Tortoise SVN.
Some knowledge of Mac Computers.
Candidates will have first class communication skills - both written and verbal, great team working skills, well organised, show initiative, logical thinker, work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure. You will be self-motivated with excellent technical skills looking to work in a small friendly environment but with the knowledge there is huge potential for the future.
