An old but functional pump

This kit is very dated now, hence the low price, but was popular in it's time, and if you're wanting to get into kitesurfing but unable to afford it (I've gradually upgraded to 2007 kit, which after much bargaining was board £220, kite £250, bar £150, pump £15 so £635), at £35 this lot would be the cheapest way BY FAR and get you on the water-I had many great days. This is a classic and powerful C-Type kite and a beginner's board which is surprisingly at home surfing UK chop. If you bought this, you'd only need to buy parts to add quick release to the bar £10 tops, a harness (£30 2nd hand), a wetsuit (£90), and a few lessons (these are a must if you've not done it before - £depends location).

The kite is in immaculate condition.

The board has a few scratches but is pretty much perfect.

I can also throw in a couple of very old bars, but they'd need work doing on them as they do not have a quick release, which is essential for safety, and one has a string missing. One bar is an old Flexifoil prototype, with perhaps the first ever chicken-loop fashioned in clay! The other is the bar that comes with the Wipika Airblast.

Please note that this is 12.1 metre C-type kite. A beginner might be able to control this kite in a force 3.5, an experienced rider could ride this in forces 4-6, depending on weight, style, experience, etc. It is not depowerable. It is called an 8.4m, but in 2001 Wipika were using a different way to measure their kite sizes - the actual surface area is 12.1 metres.

The pump has been repaired and only pumps when you're pushing the handle down (by design - more recent ones pump in both directions), but it works perfectly and reliably.
