Assistant Catering Manager Private Education
Our client is a respected foodie contract catering company that have a rare opening for an Assistant Catering Manager in a private education facility based in Horsham. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for a career path into Catering Management.
Duties will include assisting in the running of all areas of catering department management, working operationally when needed in serving areas, stock control, and staff rota, ensuring food quality & safety, food hygiene training, running functions and paperwork.
To apply for this position you will need to have a minimum of 1 year's Assistant Catering Management experience gained in the education, business and industry or similar sector. A genuine passion for food and being exceptionally conscientious about healthy eating is a must for this position, additionally planning and running function would also be advantageous. You will also need to be computer literate for this position. This role requires a positive and enthusiastic people person with the ability to communicate at all levels, excellent leadership qualities, sound financial acumen, flexible approach to work and good problem solving capability.
Our client can offer an excellent basic of £22'000 - £24'000 a year 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day for each year of service.
