Ayurvedic Cooking for the Healthy Nourishment of
Body, Mind & Emotions

Thursday 24th July 5.30 – 9.30pm

If you love eating healthily and would like to learn how to cook delicious & organic vegetarian food, then please join us for an evening of cooking and sampling that will re-inspire you in the kitchen and provide you with some valuable tools to transform your health.

During this workshop you will:

• Understand the importance of the digestive fire for your health and learn which foods help to kindle it
• Find out about the Ayurvedic six taste theory and discover why and how food affects your body, mind & emotions
• Learn to cook ghee and mung soup – powerful foods for cleansing your body and balancing your doshas
• Cook and sample some delicious vegetarian dishes that are quick and easy to prepare (for those times when you come home from work and need food immediately!)
• Discover the healing properties of the culinary herbs and spices in your kitchen cupboard
• Learn how to cook delicious desserts the healthy way!

Cost: £30 (Please pay in advance, with cheque made out to Rebecca Kriese, by latest 22nd July)

Rebecca Kriese (BA Hons Ayu., MAPA) trained as an Ayurvedic practitioner both in the UK and in India. She now practices Ayurveda with her husband Sascha in their private practice in Brighton, where they offer Ayurvedic consultations, nutrition and lifestyle advice, massage and other Ayurvedic treatments, cooking workshops and seminars.
