US:
We are currently on the lookout for a replacement drummer. The sound of the music is sort of like indie/pop/rock/shoegaze.
They're very catchy tunes. Have been compared to the Kinks/Beatles/Belle & Sebastian/Bowie/Lou Reed/Beach Boys.
Jangly, foot tapping, 60s, 70s sounding sort of affair, but very NOW at the same time. Very original. Some quite upbeat. Must be heard.
Some songs have nice harmonies for you to sing! We're looking to get touring and drum up some proper label interest. Taking it all the way with this one. (Already have major publishing interest)

YOU:
We need someone who can learn the existing repertoire/songs which have obviously already been written and arranged. We will send you 3 songs to learn, and then arrange a half hour 'audition' where we can run through them. The right person for the job, will go on to learn the repertoire, and then come up with the original beats for new material (of which there is loads).
Also we like to have a laugh, so someone who doesn't takke themselves too seriously is a bonus! And remember the title of this ad. 'Drummer Wanted ... Think...Ringo>John Densmore>Woody Woodmansey>Mitch Mitchell>' (it helps if you know/like at least one of these guys, cause that's what we're after).

We have lot's of gigging experience and our own recording and rehearsal studio down Brighton marina. We're more than halfway through an album which is coming on very nicely indeed .
