An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer focused and technically minded individual to join an expanding support team.
Domestic and General in the heart of Brighton City Centre are looking for people with a strong desire to succeed and the ability to hit quality and service targets.
As 1st Line Technical Support Advisor you will be responsible for handling all incoming calls and responding to incidents from email, web chat and phone. You will speak to customers directly to identify problems and remotely resolve software issues.
Key tasks and responsibilities will be to:
•Provide first line technical support for computer and Internet users
•Respond to incidents from email, web chat or phone
•Determine and document problems and incidents
•Setup and troubleshoot dial-up, broadband and wireless Internet services
•Setup and troubleshoot email and webmail services
•Troubleshoot Hardware and software issues
•Assist with spam, anti-virus and spyware issues
To be a great 1st Line Technical Support Advisor you will have a proven experience working in a technical support environment. You will be a first class communicator with excellent customer service skills. You will have experience dealing with customers either over the phone or face to face with ability to access problems and resolve in an efficient and professional manner.
Experience using the following is also required:
Microsoft Currently Supported Desktop Operating Systems
Windows 2000 Professional
Windows XP Home & Professional
Windows Vista (all editions)
Security
Antivirus
