Assistant Social Worker required for a private fostering organisation- ASAP. This role will be running on a permanent contract, and ideally our client would like the candidate to be in post by November.

You will be working for a busy independent fostering agency based near the city center and your role will be to ensure all standards within the company are met and all adoption prospects are fully vetted and suitable for placements.

The primary purpose of the role is to contribute and maintain the clients high standards of care, ensuring that the best interests of placed children can be met. This is an exciting opportunity for a worker who is keen to build on their existing social work skills, as you will receive on going training and personal development/support.

You must have relevant experience of working with children and families and an overview of current legislations, policy and procedures governing statutory work in children's services. It is essential that all applicants hold a valid UK driving license.
