The Brighton Free Tour is a 1.5 hour walking tour which takes you behind the bay windows with their sea views and uncovers the extraordinary story of this eccentric city by the sea. You値l discover what changed Brighton from a fishing village into the Queen of English resorts. You値l hear its stories and meet its legendary characters. You値l learn why it had such an attraction for royalty, fashionable society, writers, artists and the gay community. Strolling around its familiar and not so familiar landmarks, you値l pass the former homes of the famous and the infamous, including the lodgings of the man believed to have been Jack the Ripper and the house of the secret wife of King George IV. You値l also stumble on Graham Greene痴 favourite pub, and the church where a former black African slave was married with a trousseau bought by Queen Victoria.
