PBR Group is a small local Brighton Based Company helping to recruit supply teachers for schools in West Sussex. The schools are looking for key stage 1 and 2 supply teachers to start after the October half term. They use supply on long term and day to day throughout the term.

If you secure a long term position, you will be working as part of the team, involved in staff meetings and after school clubs. You will be expected to assess and mark children’s work.
The schools also use day to day so after the contract has finished you will have the opportunity to continue your supply at the school.

Teacher must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience.
You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.

Candidate Specification:
• A highly motivated and excellent classroom practitioner in Key Stage 1/2
• Enthusiasm, energy and commitment to children of all abilities
• Ability to exercise professional leadership to secure high quality teaching

Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude:
• Experience of teaching in KS 1/2
• Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
• Ability to work within a close-knit, supportive team

• Commitment to raising standards of learning
• Energy, Ambition and enthusiasm
• High level of self motivation
• Good Organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Languages across a wide ability range
