This won't blow you away
I've read a few peoples ads and they all sound the same. I think if you asked people is that really a true reflection of who you are, they would say no? But us humans tend to act like sheep and fit into the mould of how we feel we should behave, so most people write similar ads. Its difficult to put your self into words because at the end of the day you are so much more complex than words can convey. Everyone can put 'yeah I'm a fun guy!', but who isn't? I bet even Genghis Khan had a laugh with his mates.
What I'm getting at is that everyone likes all the normal things walks, pubs, films and all that stuff, but we are compelled to put that because otherwise we fear we may seem different to everyone else. If your happy as a person then you are happy doing anything as in films, walks, pubs etc so its irrelevant putting it in an ad as an aspect of who you are.
There are also the facts as in how tall you are, your age, shoe size. Me I'm in my early thirties and 6ft.
I guess it helps to put your interests because they are personal to you. But they are what you do not who you are. You can only really grasp who someone is and whether they are compatible after spending time with them, and that is exactly what I'm after...
